Hollow Glass Microsphere

Hollow Glass Microsphere (HGM), often called “hollow glass sphere”, “glass bubble” or “microballoon,” are tiny, engineered spherical powder made of thin-walled glass (soda-lime-borosilicate). They appear as a fine, free-flowing white powder, but under a microscope, they are hollow and spherical. It’s a versatile lightweight filler, which is inorganic and non-metallic used into a wide range of applications, such as sealants and adhesives, coatings, rubber, plastics, composites, artificial stone, putty, explosives and oil and gas field mining industry products.

Based on the advantages of lightweight, large volume, low thermal conductivity, high compressive strength, good fluidity and stable chemical properties, the application of Hollow Glass Microsphere will enhance the product properties and bring cost saving.
